We lived in Nova Scotia for a long time and we usually got weather coming up from Maine, so i have been there and seen that.
Working on the hoop coop again today. Sunny but cool.
Yack at you later. Have a good one.

Wow, yeah!
That is nice, I bet it looks great. Yes, it is sorta drizzly here- but the grass and everything needed it. :)
Okay! Ha ha, you too!

My pretty succulent

Just lovely!! What a wonderful photo. Say, what kind of camera did you use for the photo? Very nice job well done!

Just my iPad. I love my succulents, the flowers are so awesome!

Today as usual i worked on the hoop coop. One of these days i am going to have to take some time to winterize some of the animals quarters.
I got the 2 partial walls that i made from pallets finished and installed. Also attached the skirts to the front and back of the coop. And i put up three tarps that really make a difference in the look of the coop. Painted the partial walls, and another board to attach the roofing to. The hardest thing i did all day was lift two sheets of plywood up and put them on top of the partial walls to mark them where they needed to be cut. The weight wasn't bad, but it was just so awkward. Then after i was ready to head back for the house, i loaded a sheet of plywood on the Mule to take back where there was electricity to use the jigsaw to cut the plywood. So one piece is cut, the other is still back at the build site.

Very good, it is looking great!! Two tumbs-up! :thumbsup :thumbsup
Ha ha, yes, sometimes working with plywood that isn't attached yet can be awkard. Mostly when it's done alone. :)

Yes, AH, my husband fell out of a tree with a running chain saw and broke 2 ribs so i am not going to ask him to help with lifting. I think i discovered new muscles today and worked them out!
Oh, and someone gifted me a 3 month premium membership! Plus BYC is giving me a free calendar! You gotta love that!
How was your day?

I am terribly sorry to hear that, hope he gets well and best wishes. :)
That is great that not only you discovered muscles... But two awards?! Congratulations, that is wonderful!! :hugs
My day has been pretty good, thank you. Had my Grandmother over a little, did some projects. I would have loved to spend some more time working outside... But the weather was not giving me a break. So I've been taking it easy. :)

We got a real lot of rain! But still not enough to pull us out of the drought we had this summer. The pond is getting higher though, which was needed.

Today i took a rare break from coop building . I planted some perennials that have been sitting around waiting. Pulled weeds, cleaned leaves off the electric fence wires, and swept out the garage. I also took 15 minutes to go sit in the run and watch the chickens. It was great!
