Need to know Brahma genetic colour...

Yep, x2 Like Illia said crossing with blue hens will give Blue and Black birds that likely will have leakage but if you do put it in the calculator, it doesnt show leakage and will only show them as solid birds.

im in Galway, ireland. I have Gold (or as the yanks say "partridge" lol ) dark (also known as silver) black and blue brahmas. so what you have is a gold cock there. keep in touch, maybe we can swap some birds next year once mine start breeding, get some new blood in our flocks

I am on Irish Fowl as SarahF, sure I have seen you post on there too?

Def keep in touch re:eggs. Would love to develop a Blue partridge colour, the blues are lovely but very slate coloured and a little vibrancy to the colour would be nice. The father of these is a blue too, and he had lovely red running through but was certainly blue.

Once I have had him for a few weeks I'll happily send you some eggs, the hens are only just coming in to lay so won't trust the fertility too much yet. They have been running with a buff orp rooster too so need to give that time to run out of them!!

Well there are bird couriers here, but with getting the rooster pictured earlier I'll keep hold of them now. By all means will post up eggs though.

Can't wait for him to arrive to be honest!

Anywhere from 2 days to 4 weeks.

Depends on the strength/activity of each bird's sperm, and how often the new one mates the hen.
