Need to sex Call Ducks

Does anyone have a picture of a 6 week snowy call ducklings......both male and female? I really want to find out what I have. I believe it's a female. Please. Any help would be appreciated.

Is there anyone who can answer my call duck questions? She's 6 weeks old and very loud. How can I tell that she's a female for sure? Anything in particular to help me? Colors or sounds? Frustrating. She's a snowy call duck. What color would she be at this age?

Is there anybody on this site to actually help? I've posted many questions and haven't received an answer.

At that age, it should be fairly obvious. Female calls get VERY loud, very early in life! Bean began making "joker laugh" calls as early as 3 weeks. Males, on the other hand, will go through multiple voice changes before finally settling on their adult rasp. So if your duckie is still peeping or sounds like a duckling with a sore throat, you might have a male. If it calls, "jokers", and chirps, you've got a female!

Mine peeps and chirps.......and thanks for the reply......and she also makes a loud noise that sounds like "Meep." Haven't heard anything that sounds like a laugh. I'm betting this is a girl. And the "meeps" are very loud.

Is there a way to tell by color? It's a definite "Mip" or "Meep" that we hear. Can be quiet or very loud. Can't hear a definitive "Quack" as of this writing Her bill is black and her feet were black but are turning in to a flesh color. But loud? Can be very loud.

If it's a gray or pastel then yes, color would be an indicator. But if she's got a paint job like white or black bibbed, not so much. :p From the sounds of it I'd say you have a female. Does she ever make a shrill, high-pitched and LOUD rapid series of quacks that sounds like laughter, like this?

Haven't heard that laughter sound....at all. This is a Snowy call duck. She's mostly dark brown with the brown outlined by light brown. 2 white stripes are on both wings....and in the middle of those stripes is a very dark color coming between the white stripes. My son said it almost looks like black or dark blue. Wish I could post a pic.

Nuts, I was going to ask for a pic. :p How come you can't take one? No camera? And male snowies have the typical green mallard head, so that'd be a dead giveaway. But you say she's mostly dark brown? I wish I could see a pic...
