Need to thin my roosters, but who should stay?!

I hatched these roosters this spring in a large hatch of a mix of black copper maran, Americauna, black silkie, leghorn and Brahma from hatching eggs I bought from someone else. I’m wanting to keep the roosters that’ll help color up my egg basket! If you have any ideas on who would be best or what breeds they are, that would be great! Thanks!

Without test breeding each one no one can say which one will color up your egg basket

They’re all mutts. Due to te=he first one’s muffs/beard and Peacomb I’d assume he has a blue egg gene, so could add some more variation to the basket. Who knows what the other’s carry.

In terms of coloration, I really love the last one.

#1 is probably the best bet for colored eggs, assuming he gets his beard and comb from an Ameraucana parent, but that isn't definite. I think #2 and #4 are the prettiest of them, myself, but they're all gorgeous.

1: ameraucana x marans or Easter egger x marans
2: Easter egger mix, maybe Easter egger x Brahma
3: Brahma x leghorn
4: Easter egger x leghorn
5: Silkie x marans
6: Brahma mix, maybe Brahma x Easter egger

Also, @Hlazysfarms, you have BEAUTIFUL roosters on your hands. Good egg basket, I would keep all of them if I were you!

5: Silkie x marans

A Silkie mix ( one parent being a pure Silkie) would have 5 toes as this trait is dominant.

#3 Looks like a New Hampshire x Marans mix to me. A Brahma x Marans would have a different comb.

Hatchery quality silkies often aren’t pure for the extra toes gene, or even have four toes themselves. I’ve seen many first generation silkie crosses with four toes.

#3 Looks like a New Hampshire x Marans mix to me. A Brahma x Marans would have a different comb.

A Brahma x marans would have white legs, as that is dominant over yellow.
