The end of October was 5 1/2 weeks ago, your neighbor had every right to get p.o., why did you not get rid of the rooster then?

"Build bridges, not burn them."

like I've said several times- I dont' have a problem with her being mad- or being within her rights- but seriously- do people have any boundaries any more? Do we really have to resort to screaming at our neighbors across the yard about how horrible they are? Come on

just trying to answer questions-
someone asked how far away her house is- about an acre away. I've contemplated renting a 16x 16 plot from neighbor on the other side, to house the coop, run, and chickens.

Is Not To Be All U Know Ghetto To What Ever But People Always Have Someting To Say Or Always Dont Like What You Are Doing For What Ever Reason But Hey...deal With It ..and If You Dont Like It Pay Me My Bills Ill Do What You Want..lol

On Another Note How Can We Get Whole United States Laws On Farm Animals Like Back Yard Chickens To Change.... I Mean Soooooooooooooo Many People Have Them Here. They Sometimes Cross The Streets Yet Its Still A City With Building And And What Not. And They Are Just Chickens But So Are Birds Just Birds, and Rats, Racoons And Squirrels Just Rats, Racoons And Squirrels, We Have Em Too ..and In This Economy My Girls Happily Lay Eggs For Me One Less Grocery I Have To Make One Less Thing I Worry About, Another 4 Bucks Towards My Mortgage And What Not U Know. On Feed Well I Get It Free Here. Tho I Do Spend About 35 A Month On Feed Some Months The Rest Of The Time My Bro Brings Feed For Me He Works In A Feed Store..(not Stolen Just Gets It Free For His So He Shares With Me) Again Im Puerto Rican But Not That Type...lol..so If Ya Like Something You Earn It You Should Keep It Thats My Thoughts On That

Get rid of the rooster. Make sure the coop/run area is the model of chickendom and when the city complains, invite them out to see what you have. You never know, if you can demonstrate that your chickens are clean, quiet and happy - they might not care.

call her and be polite..tell her that you are trying very hard to find a home for the roo..
maybe that will appease her enough to keep her trap shut..
