Needing advice on feed!

Hogwash. Cracked corn, or whole corn or cornmeal or corn on the cob or whatever isn't bad. And cracked corn certainly isn't worse than other corn, assuming its been stored properly, like any grain should be. If its the only thing you feed, it's not a complete meal. Corn isn't bad, but not feeding anything else is. Corn is a very good ingredient of feed, but makes a poor meal if nothing else is offered.

Now I will agree that GMO corn, which is probably 95% of the corn on the market, isn't good. It's a controversial topic, but there are several reasons I won't buy GMO corn. Note I didn't say I won't eat it. I'm not going to be a snob about it if a friend makes a meal with it, but I won't choose it for myself or our chickens.
i will take a pic of my feed tomorrow and show everyone in this thread. I just want to make sure my chickens are getting what is needed for happy birds! Ill also take a pic of the ingredients on the bag.

We each have our own opinion.I am saying from what I have read and heard.

Cracked corn is easier to swallow ETC,but it any corn causes salmonela(Sorry i have no idea how to spell it.).
It's also a filler, and could cause health problems.
Most corn can cause Salmonela.

Really, only the Medicated feed may be good for a chicken.Although i'm sure it has a corn in it.There really isnt anything you can do,but feed them your own way.

Now,I will say, medicated feed can cause issues for many livestock.
Ducks/ducklings CANNOT have medicated feed.

They become limp, and die. They never grow, its almost as if they a stopper in growing. They hardly grow feathers,ETC,basically their in horrible condition. After stopping this,my hen(duck) limps because of the Medicated chick feed.

This I wouldn't give as a every day feed.Eggs would have plenty of medicine, not that I think any certain things would hurt you in them.

(Just warning you!)

If you are going to claim that corn causes salmonella, you should provided a link to back up your claim.

Well i am not sure how to put a link on here.
Many people have said Corn does.
From experiences of others,it does.
Either way it goes, corn causes1 issue.

There is a difference between making an opinion and stating incorrect information.
"I don't like corn" = an opinion
"Corn causes salmonella"=a claim
