Hi all,
I'm new to this site and relatively inexperienced in raising chickens. We always had them growing up and now that I have children of my own I think it would be a good way for us to spend time together. Long story short I have a chicken that showed up out of nowhere and is now calling my yard her home. She's very mild mannered and I would like to get some more of her but I'm not exactly sure what breed she is. I've included a few pictures. Any help would be appreciated
Sincerely,
Matt

Cinnamon queen is one common or proprietary name used to market red sex links
I'm learning all sorts of stuff on here. I did not know that. Any recommendations on another breed? Looking for mainly egglayers unless I get a straight run with a bunch of roosters, then some will have to go

Sex links are a great way to avoid unwanted males as they are 100% sexable by sight at hatch. Red and black sex links are great layers of brown eggs. If you want white eggs you can't beat the production bred white leghorn. A blue or green layer can add some fun to your egg basket....i love Easter eggers for the variety in color and pattern and they tend to be better layers than pure breed blue laying breeds
