She is scared though, she doesn't want to loose her hair, she's scared that the surgery will hurt, she's worried about the what if she doesn't pull through because of her daughter (my gd).

All in all I basically tell her it's out of her hands anyways, just sit back and enjoy the ride. Most of her fears are the worst case scenarios, and I don't believe any of those are going to surface.

At least she isn't alone, and she'll have help caring for the baby while she recovers.

Not sure about the cool hat, but I think scarves, bandannas and others will be used

I think loosing her hair will only be a shock for a short period of time.
