Neighbor attracting geese

My neighbor has a pond that he fills with fish to fish for. This pond is attracting geese to my property, as the pond is literally right on the other side of my fence. and I’m terrified they are going to make my flock sick. Does anyone have any ideas how I can discourage them from landing on my property, and from landing at the pond from my own property?

They don't have to land on your property. If a HPAI carrier bird flies over your property and poops where you flock is they can contract HPAI.

I know, that’s one of the reasons I’m wanting to discourage them from the pond. So they don’t fly over or land on my property. It’s very scary. It’s not in my state yet, YET. but it’s inching this way and I am working on tightening things up as much as I can. Confining them won’t be possible without some majorly expensive construction I can’t do at the moment. So I have to focus on keeping possible carriers away. I’m sanitizing high traffick areas, feed and water holders, and roosts daily, and doing all I can to boost their immune systems. However I have many old/special needs birds who I worry for immensely.

There’s probably nothing you can really do to stop them. But a scarecrow might be a little bit helpful

My cousin has a few ponds, and they board horses. Supposedly, there poop is bad for the horses. A few shots with his 12g, and the flocks tend to find other ponds.

Try to warn or contact the owner and tell him about what the geese might be doing to harm the pond by pooping in it and ask him to do something to stop them from coming over. You can also try and get some kind of extra protecting like netting or something to scare them. Maybe you can contact some kind of local wildlife service and ask them how you can stop them from contaminating your birds? I know geese manure is more harmful than a chickens or ducks would be.
