I'm always handing out eggs to the neighbors. Seems to keep them happy. This afternoon while in the grocery store one of those neighbors asked if she could start buying eggs from me. Of course! She asked how much, I said $2.50 a dozen, and she said great, shell be over tomorrow. Nice I figure that just might cover feed. Now hubby has no compalints

I just sold some eggs for the first time yesterday. I gave some to my kids bus driver and now she wants to buy them for herself and her mom. I have no intention of paying for the coop, but paying for the feed would be nice.

I started selling eggs at my work, have only sold 3 dozen so far because the girls were a little slow to get started this year. Course, winter has hung on for an exceptional long time too. Anyway, I'm not free ranging this year for the first time so I'm concerned the taste won't be as good as it has been in the past.
I don't have a way to keep them out of my garden if I let them free range though and I have to have my peas!

I have a neighbor asking for eggs that I usually give to them, and a customer also asking for more eggs to buy, and my chickens??? THEY"VE BEEN SLACKING ON EGG PRODUCTION so I have nothing to give them!

A month ago I was overrun with eggs, even giving them to 4 families besides mine, so I posted on Craigslist and got a couple of regular customers, so now I don't have enough eggs to supply 2 families!!!
