Neighbor's chickens over here. Mad as Heck!

Give your neighbors the complete story of how you feel and tell them ONCE, they can correct this problem for you OR the Animal Control WILL .


DO NOT use any type gun , NOT even a paint gun . That actually would be teaching your children wrong .

Try and solve this problem with them and TELL THEM POINT BLANK , its becoming a major problem and they solve the problem or ITS OUT of your hands

Be very careful about complaining about these chickens because yours are free-ranging too and I'm pretty sure you'll be told that. Theirs may be sick, but yours could wander too, and sickness is as close as one wild bird feces...

Please don't hurt them. I think that's most cruel and unfair.

Our chooks would get out of their run all the time and ruin our landscaping, and so Alyssa's dad would pop them in the butt with some sort of soft gun. It'd spook them but not hurt them, and they'd go running back to their run. After a few days of that they pretty much never leave their run.

I don't live in the city. There are no ordinances for any livestock.

I do NOT want to hurt these chickens.

If I printed this whole post out and gave it to them, I'd still have the thugs in my yard. I've caught them 3 times and put them back in his pen.

My "children" wouldn't know if I were to pop them with an airsoft gun. He has Autism, and rarely goes outside.

They'd fly over a fence. They can fly long distances and they fly way up in the trees to roost. Plus I can't afford another fence.

My chickens free range on my property only. They never go near their land.

You guys have covered my points too:

1-Fence
2-Talk to neighbor
3-Dog


We have both Airsoft and paintball guns. Paintballs may harm or kill the chickens.

Airsoft will scare the chickens short term but they will forget. We target practice
with our airsoft guns around our chickens. They don't eat the BBs.


How about a nice big rooster??? Raise him with your silkies so he thinks they are
his flock. An OEGB standard would do the trick.
