Neighbors Dog Killed Chickens

Just because u would rather let a dog kill all the birds that supply yours and other family's eggs and meat that you took such great love and care to raise does not mean it's that way with others.

Ignorant statement after another ignorant statement. I never said anything about that. If another dog comes on my property my dog will handle that.

Lol I don't even eat meat once again shows how ignorant you are. The fact that you think you're a good shot is laughable.

You seem to have all the answers but unfortunately don't have the answers to how to keep your own flock safe, another laughable statement.

You make for some very good late-night laughs!

actually i am a good shot killed 20 foxes this year plus plenty of other predators and not a single one got a chicken and have only lost one chicken to a fox before so you are the ignorant one. By the way not every one has a dog. There is 4 neighbors around here that have lost 20 plus each chickens this year by dogs and ive lost none i wonder why

Hi everyone. I recently got 10 hens and 1 rooster. They have been free range for the past week and have been doing fine. Today my husband and I both went to work and when we came home all chickens were missing but 3 hens. They were in their pen today. The only evidence of something happening is mud and dog hair on the coop with pen wire pushed over. The neighbor told my husband this past weekend that his dog kills chickens. I did not find any bodies or anything, just dog hair on my coop. What do you think happened? Oh and it 100% belonged to neighbors dog as it matches her fur.
I'm sorry to hear that does hurt. bigger dogs go right through chicken wire my neighbors dog killed my Guinea hens years ago.he gave me several thousand lb of alfalfa hay for my horses to make up for it since I couldn't shoot his dog because I'm kinda whimpy when it comes to shooting dogs that are nice dogs otherwise.
