Yeah, sorry to beat a dead horse, but after seeing that picture I'm just going to reiterate that anyone telling you that that's $100+ in material cost alone is giving you bad information. You're right that the dog pushed a hole through the fence, but unless I'm missing something, I don't see any of that hardware cloth that needs completely replaced. In my opinion it would be pretty dishonest to ask your neighbor to pay for any amount of extra hardware cloth if that's the case.

Are you trying to tell us that a dog climbed in and up over this little section of hardware cloth to get into a prefab small coop that was holding 20 birds and then it managed to go right back out through the same little opening without breaking all of these staples off?
