Neighbor's Dogs Killed Entire Flock & Donkey

. This is called a "one-party consent" law. Under a one-party consent law, you can record a phone call or conversation so long as you are a party to the conversation. Furthermore, if you are not a party to the conversation, a "one-party consent" law will allow you to record the conversation or phone call so long as your source consents and has full knowledge that the communication will be recorded.
You still can't ignore YOUR state's laws, even if Federal law allows it

People who let their pets roam rarely ever care about any damage.I find keeping a tight lip,and quietly removing the problem to work best.

I totally agree with Mattema. It is never a good idea to shoot off your mouth and a weapon at the same time. But hollow points, sadly, when absolutely necessary, solve more problems than hollow threats.
Any updates please. The family at B.Y.C. all care about your plight.

I heard a big ruckus out in the pen, raced out and caught one of our "yellow dog" rescues high-tailing it out the back w/ one of my girls in his mouth. I yelled at him to drop it, which he did, and she limped back to her flock (a little bruised and gimpy but ok). I was so **** mad, I grabbed that dog, drug him over to the chix pen and beat the ever-lovin tar outa him. I know u PETA people wouldn't agree, but it WORKED. It's been 6 mos and he doesn't go even remotely close to the chickens. EVER. What I've always understood is that, once a dog gets the taste of blood in their mouth, they can't ever be broke of that drive to kill. And dogs are the only animals (besides humans) that kill for sport. I told my husband if I ever catch any of our dogs killing chickens, I WILL shoot it dead. (He just said , "I promise I won't hurt you chix, honey, cuz I wouldn't want u to shoot me!!!"). Tell your neighbor she has a choice: pen her dogs 24/7/365 or you will shoot to kill them if they even step foot on your property. Farm laws will back you up.

Today someones pitbull and mini dog were roaming the yards and barking at my dogs. All day long.Called my neighbor to keep her great grandkids inside.I won't bother with the owner. If that pit gets through my fence I am ready for it.One less problem.

After multiple heartbreaks from a neighbor's dachsund which had a taste for the sport of killing my chickens, I would like to point out that if people love their pets, they try to keep them safe. In the country if a dog kills livestock, it's subject to being shot. If this woman truly loved her dogs she would do what she needed to prevent her dogs from being rightfully put down. Please point that out to her, and remind her that you're being nice this time. I'm sure you have people in your area who won't be so nice.

When I get my sites on this little pecker-dragging chicken killer the neighbors won't be getting him back. The neighbors have been warned.

Wonders if the OP will ever come back to report any conclusion on the situation?

It's been 3 weeks since they've posted.

I'm sure it's not a pleasant subject to have to re-visit. Time will tell, I guess.
Well, yes...that, and all the insensitive ranting that seems to take over so many threads...I think it makes people hesitant to come back and post any developments. Too bad, sometimes we learn more if we just listen.
