If it were me that were charged with above crime I would have gotten a few years in prison as some locals nearby did. This is just a minor story there are a few much worse than that.
My suggestion would be to get some video and if you have trouble with him using authority on you as revenge turn that video over to your local news station. True not all cops are bad as I have two cousins that are in LE and they are very friendly to most everyone and genuinely want the job because they enjoy helping people.
I have to agree with Kung Foo Chicken. Be very careful when dealing with Law Enforcement Officers especially in South Carolina. I have never lived anywhere where Law Enforcement Officers were so much just a bad joke. It would be funny except they all carry guns openly.
