Neosporin update - it's working!

I've had my chicks for 5 days now, on the evening of day 2 I noticed some pasting and started the cleaning regimen. After cleaning with a damp warm cloth I trimmed up the fluff a bit around the vents and applied a little bag balm to each. I checked them several times throughout the next couple days, cleaning and trimming as needed when I noticed another developing pasting. As of this morning all their little behinds are dry and clean! I hope that's the end of it for this batch!
Bag balm can be purchased at just about any pharmacy or farm supply; it was originally created as a moisturizer for cow udders...much like petroleum jelly. Seems to work great and there has been zero picking.
