Nesting box colours

So I have a problem where my hens forget which nest (and therefore partially incubated eggs) was theirs. And I found this post trying to find out if painting the boxes different colours might help them to remember. What was the result in the end for your hens? Did you notice anything?

No color of nest won't help.
I like to isolate broodies behind a temporary wire wall in the coop.
That way they have room to eat drink poop and only one nest to return to.

I've tried that but my hens want none of it :( Being closer to the coop actually seems to make them more distressed that they can't get back to the layer boxes. I am honestly considering blocking up the layer boxes and building new ones on the ground outside.

I move them before I give them fertile eggs.
After they've are clearly broody(2 days and nights in the nest).
Floor nest with fake eggs, they fuss at first but never took more than a full day for them to go to the nest, another days on the fakies then they get fresh fertile eggs.
