Nesting Box Opinions, Thoughts, Input Please

I would like to hear from those that have nesting boxes like or similar to the one pictured below.
Do your hens use them, have you had any issues with the "product", would you buy/use the same nesting boxes again or choose something else?
If you choose something else, what would it be? A photo or link would be great.

Do you use one with legs or wall mount?
Photos if you have them?

Of course everyone is welcome with thoughts, opinions, etc.

I purchased a 2 hole roll away for our granddaughters in MT from Amazon.

Homestead Essentials

They just got it, the pullets aren't laying yet, so it's not yet installed. Wish I'd paid more attention to the size! It's less then 10" each In width. May work OK w/ these pullets (EEs & Silver Phoenix?), but don't think it will work for the Marans our daughter would like to raise next year...

I purchased 2 of the rear roll out nest boxes from Premier 1 for my A-frame tractors. I also just got them. They are larger & lightweight, but not sure how they will work or hold up... Will be working on that.

Premier 1 nest box

I have, over the years, used a variety of nest boxes. I will say that I don't like wooden boxes - after dealing w/ mites that came in w/ adult chickens I purchased & constantly damp in our open air coops. Overall, I like the milk crates so far. You can build a frame, they can set in it & it can be lifted out to clean. I strapped them so they didn't flip (on floor) & cut the hay string to clean them... You can also get shorter sided, but longer baskets for no or very low cost.

This one takes a lot of space in the 8' long tractor. But it did work. Once I knew they would lay in it, this fall/winter, I plan on building a back wall attachment & cover. There is room under it for them to forage. It is not a roll out nest. The perch can be flipped up to keep them from sleeping in it.

We have had several different versions in the past few years. That said, we just ordered a 6 box metal set on legs. We just got a new coop and the older I’m getting it’s harder to bend down and get the eggs that are in the back of the nesting boxes. I’m hoping these being off the ground will help.
