Nesting boxes

I have three nesting boxes. 1 plastic egg in a box, 1 plastic egg in another box. I have a shiny plastic egg. I was wondering if it would be ok to put it in the other nesting box. Is putting a Shiny egg in the nesting box going to do anything? Or is it fine to put it in?

I am not sure there is a difference, I am on the waiting game myself, one egg on Wed nothing since, I am going to use golf balls...good luck!
