Nevadans?

Sunny Nate looks just like you. I love that pic. Boy does that bring back memories. LOL Looks just like the guys in high school!

Yep, high school was what I fashioned his costume after. Steve still had that jacket left over from high school and I had my daughter make the necklace in the macrame styles the guys liked back then. We couldn't find an abalone shell or we would have used that instead. Classic 70s!

Very perceptive! Most folks say that my daughter looks exactly like me but her coloring is where the likeness lies. She gets a few features from her Dad. Nate, except for his coloring looks almost exactly like me! His eyes are more almond shaped though (I so wish mine were!). But his forehead, chin, nose, ears, mouth, even his cheekbones look like mine. A lot of our expressions look identical because of this. And except for that almond shape his eyes look like mine too. He gets that skin that puffs up under the eye when he smiles so he smiles like me. Well a masculine version of me. Oh, except he is long waisted like my Dad.

My daughter has her Dad's mouth, his wavy hair and his eyebrows, his ears but the shape of her face and body are like my Moms. What's left looks like me. (thank goodness they both got MY nose). LOL

My son was 5' 10" at 12 but he stopped growing at 12. We all look like giants at that age but since Millers quit growing so early most folks eventually catch up or pass us.

I love the blond, Sheryl! But I love the red, too. They both really suit you.

Sunny, you're gorgeous. Hopefully when my kids are grown, I'll have a little of that going on.

Aubrey, I love all the colors, and the personality. Mark's look is awesome, too! My husband and I are about as funky as we can get for a middle-aged couple, if we want to still keep people talking to us at church. I think they expect it now, though. They're like, "Oh, that's just Russ and Missy. Someday they'll grow up."

I've temp-dyed my hair brunette several times, and have gotten great reviews. But I know that, if I perma-dyed it, there would be a lot of upkeep and my long, fine hair would be cut short after getting fried. I think the hair is about all that's keeping me looking young right now, since I've been working out in the sun for most of my life. Both my older sister and the one next down from me are 50% gray, and my mom was almost totally gray at 40 years old.

This is the most recent one of me, about a month ago, after I did the pink streak. It's starting to fade out now.

And my beautiful husband. I'm going to submit his picture to GQ.

Yes, his face usually does look like that. His mom warned him that it would stay that way if he made funny faces often enough. She was right.

One more I have to add... This one is just too good. We lost Shadow last Friday... she was just over 16 years old.

I stopped growing at 13, and the rest of junior high was awkward until I got into high school and some of the senior boys were taller than me. Joe is still shooting up there, and his appetite is insane. My brother is 6'4"... I don't think Joe will get that tall, but probably over 6 foot tall.

My oldest son Miguel is about 5'10". He was so happy the day he made that height. He was always so short and I had a problem when pregnant with him and they said he'd probably be 5'7" or shorter. He measured in at 5'10" and called thanking me for being tall. LOL

Dakotah! When he was 10 months old, his brain hemorrhaged. We lost him over and over and they'd bring him back. Thank God! He was in a comma for 3 weeks, came out of that and his right side was paralyzed. When they would bring residents and students through during evaluations, they would say "Age approximately 2 yrs old." Then they'd see his age on the chart or I would tell them his age and they were shocked. They told me he would probably be somewhere between 6'3" and 6'5". At 12 he was about 5'7". This past December he was 6' even. I was so glad he got some longer pants! LOL Good thing his birthday is in May. Hopefully his sisters will set him up in clothes again. Measured him last week and he's 6'2". Pants are getting short again! He's tall and thin. I can't find shirts or jackets or even hoodies that are long enough and don't drape on him like a tent. He's too expensive to cloth and he always goes through growth spurts right after I shop for him. And I buy thing that he can grow into! Just bought his big size 12 feet some new shoes and was so glad he wasn't like an old friend of mines sons. They weren't as tall as Kotah but wore sizes 17 and 19, She had to spend a small fortune to get them shoes. I told her to just get them the boxes and have them wear those. LOL

Aubrey, I really like the one with the bikes, too. You haven't convinced Mark to go for some color in his hair?

Sorry about losing Shadow, Missy.

Sunny, love your son's 70's costume! what sweet photos of your parents. and what a cute granddaughter--now where are photos of the rest of your grandchildren?

Sheryl, how did you get such a tall son? very handsome

Kim, tempted on the bantams but with chicks coming soon , it would get too complicated. sounds like your son is just growing like a weed!

Daniel, Lovely family! Now we'll need a photo of the other one who's been added.

Hope i didn't miss anyone.
