She's the same as she has been. All I know is she's not egg bound and she has 2 tumors that I've found. I called the UNR extension but they said the animal part where we can come has been shut down due to lack of funding. She gave me the phone number for the Nevada State Department of Agriculture and I was able to talk to Dr. Forbes. He says anything can cause ascites and we would not know for sure unless I put her down and they do the necropsy to find out what's going on.
He says I could wait it out because the fluid can be absorbed by the body and she could come out of it and everything will be fine. He's thinking it's EYP and the lumps could just be cysts.
I'm going to wait it out for now while I research this completely. At least I know she's not egg bound.
