Nevadans?

I got the larger brooders set up out in the garage and moved the 6 in. they seemed happy with all the space. They have a baby roost in there too.

Seth, your set up looks good! I think you will have a lot of fun brooding them yourself.

Oh, all the chick and duckling pictures are so cute.

Seth, I cant remember how many chicks are you getting? I think the feather duster would take up too much room and they do have eachother. Also, try to find some clear plastic to go around the bottom of the cage or you'll have shavings everywhere! Those little fuzzy butts have some good scratchers on them! I think the pet store has them for bird cages. You're going to enjoy them so much!

Bless you!

a phoo, the dusters take no space really. they either crawl under them or enjoy jumping off em. Its a win win!

Bless you!

LOL!!!!!

so how do y'all think my new marans is fairing against the dreadful showgirls?

Yep, they killed him.

he never even stood a chance.

No but really, this marans is so freaking cute and i really really love his colors. Here he is guarding his new little big siblings :) awww

"Dont even think about trying any funny stuff!"

Got some better pics of the little bald neckies. I love them so much.

Ive actually been looking at pics of gc marans roosters and they are beautiful. I think if this lil guy decides to be a rooster Ill be more than happy. Itll probably be a girl though because thats just how it goes when you actually want a roo, LOL!

LOL this is cracking me up! He looked so tiny a couple of hours ago, now he looks HUGE!

Well, we started out with 48 chickens (apparently our count was wrong, Sheryl.) There are 22 left, to split between Lacey and myself.

It was so nice to see everyone! And nice to meet you, Seth. It was a really fun adventure today, with lots of little fluffballs and lots of betting on who will be a rooster.

Came home and was playing with my chicks and the fattest, roundest, one has feathers on its feet. It is not the biggest but he likes food
