LOL! I wish we could! Give us a couple months warning next time and hopefully we won't be moving (or recovering from surgery or dealing with family crisis or...). It sounds like sooo much fun!!!Sunny we camp on campus in the Eucalyptus grove. It's good for you and it will help you breath. And you wouldn't look any funnier than some people that I've seen. Just don't show up in a dollar store war bonnet please. LOL You should go. I'd even break down and go to the buffalo feed with the elders if you went. I never do that anymore. Actually a buffalo burger would suffice. Might have to go that route since kids will be there.
Yes coyote faces are just that. I need those and ermine tails or skins for some regalia pieces. The faces are for my spirit baskets. I like to buy my seed beads there too. I hate ordering and having things sent if I can't touch it and feel the beads to make sure they're smooth and uniform. I have a huge problem these days because I have always mainly used size 15 and 16 beads and my eyes are telling me I need 11's. Bigger beads seem strange to me. I stock up on my beading needles too, cause if the right seller is the from Arizona she always hooks me up.![]()
Grab some Benedryl and start driving!
Dakotah is dragging around because he says the Pow Wow is boring. Translation is, now 360 or PS2. Poor kid has to rough it and participate one weekend out of the year for his culture that at his age I radical about. He has no real idea how much of an activist his mom was. He'd just think it was weird anyway. Now my grandson Donovan, I got a text this morning at 5am. "Are you going to the Pow Wow this weekend?" I looked at my phone, the clock and the number. Didn't recognize the number, so I rolled over and went back to sleep. I forgot about the text and around 3pm I noticed it and asked who it was. Wasn't going to tell just anyone yes. It was him and so I told him yes and he texted back "OK! YES!!!" LOL He likes to go out in the grove and play baseball with kids that show up there. My main things I have to absolutely bring......hot cocoa and the makings for smores. I forgot one year and drove all over Palo Alto looking for stuff. Have to pack light though, cause my car isn't made for hauling and last year I caused problems that I'm still fixing. OOPS!

40 will be here before ya know it! A fantastic decade. I absolutely loved my 40s!!!Okay just a little explaination on the marriage issue (hahaha). Mark and I have been together for five years in June and have lived together for all but three months of those so were practically married anyhow. The funny part is that I never cared about marriage at all until Markie told me he doesnt believe in marriage and will never be married. Well geeze how do you say THAT to a bull headed girl and not expect her to take it as a challenge? One of these days I will win. Since I was a little girl the only part of marriage that enticed me was going to vegas and getting wed by an elvis impersonator. (yes i dream big) It remains my pre 30 yr goal. Basically weve got this house, the dog, cats, birds, cars, bills, etc etc etc bonding us, so hes stuck with me no matter what, HA!
Mark and I are such a pair of goofballs that no matter what i just know we will always be a team. Were like bread and butter him and i. In fact, our rastifarian neighbor up the street stopped by one day to tell us that his mama always told him "dont ever leave the house with your girl lookin' like oil and water". he wanted us to know we never look like oil and water. Omg it was adorable. Love this guy no matter what. Hes definitely my soulmate. I know I am very young but i have had my share of losers before him too. Although he does keep talking about turning 40. "oh when i turn 40.." or" these trees will have fruit by the time im 40..." Geeze mark, Lets not talk about that yet OKAY?!?!

Quote: I thought you were up to your limit? Do you want a marans still? I have a couple of 5 week olds available that I was gonna sell at the swap. They came from nice dark eggs but I am not sure about gender on these. I probably just need to take a closer look tomorrow. Usually the tail feathers and comb give it away by now. Otherwise you will need to wait til after I move when everyone else gets theirs if you want the grown girls.
Well Missy, actually we were going to start collecting eggs Sunday to have a hatch date of June 15th there about while my dad is here. I don't have any takers on them yet so I was just debating with John if we should even attempt it right now. If I can get at least a maybe out of them then I will try. Please let them know though that the price they will be paying is not the price this last hatch went for. I'm going to raise my price on the next hatch to $15 each while I keep learning this process of incubating. I had 6 ducklings mature all the way to hatching and then they died. Only 2 of those broke through into the air cell. I have no idea what caused it. On 2 of them the liquid in the egg was thick and that means the humidity was too high at the beginning of incubation. I'm thinking of following another websites instructions on Welsh Harlequinn's to see if that is the actual case. I should have had 13 ducklings from this last hatch by what I saw once I opened all of the unhatched eggs.
Well, his wife gave her permission, and he's thrilled about it, so I told him I'd ask you. He would really like two girls and a boy. I told him it would be at least $10 each, so I'm sure $15 wouldn't be a problem.
Thanks Missy. I'll start collecting the eggs then.
