They're due next Friday. I'm not holding my breath, though. Too much bad luck, and moving my broody wasn't successful at all. This will be my last attempt this year... too many ups and downs!!!

aww thats too bad I really thought you set your eggs before I did. well shoot, i have one other egg due sunday. It would be 1/2 sultan 1/4 blue orp 1/4 lav am. I hope it makes it because that seems like such a cool combo. I dunno though, its the same egg that died last time and i already lost another one this hatch

Funny...the genetics calculator says that she should be blue like her mom, but she is white...Mr Pants has some strong genes i guess!!!

I think lil bedbug has spraddle leg she isn't interested in walking at all but she is peeping and is alert. Maannnn I do not want an indoor chick right now! Humph. Poor thing. We will see how she's feeling tomorrow

One of my bantam buff Brahma chicks in this last hatch looked the same and I was sure it had spraddle leg but after a couple of days the legs were normal

I will keep my fingers crossed that bedbug will do the same

Got a giant brown speckled egg today. I'm thinking maybe it's from the gcmarans (ok, I really need to get on the stick and finish naming my flock!) but it's lighter than her others have been. Or it could be a welsummer. that one is not going into the sales cartons. I need to see what's in there! Photos will come a little later of my new ameraucana egg and the giant egg.
