Sierra feed on s. Virginia. I've gone there everyday since Tuesday to enquire about chicks and let them know that I'm really going to need one or two, and then this morning I call to check and make sure that they arrive okay and they tell me that try are not for sale because there was a list of people who were going to buy them.

Really? I have talked to you for three days straight about chicks and not one person mentioned a waiting list! Not to mention they had signs all over the store promoting the chicks, why were these signs not taken down once all the chicks were "pre sold"? I'm so frustrated with them. On Wednesday I even aske if I needed to special order and they said no. I was devastated this morning.

Wow, what customer service they have?

I'm going to Green's Feed on N Virginia across from the Bonanza Casino and those ladies have been the greatest to work with. They know their stuff and are very helpful too. The staff in the yard even loads the feed into your vehicle for you as well. I would try them for sure, they also had a list of chicks and ones for sell too without being on the list. It sounds like this Sierra feed under ordered for the people who came in to purchase them or someone didn't speak with the person who did the ordering to let them know there were other people who wanted chicks?

Yeah I love greens feed. Those people are so smart and so nice. I will not wander from them again!

I've never asked them about leg bands and was wondering where you would find them?

Yes they have a lot of colors and sizes. Just don't make the same mistake I did and use the little ones. They really went from the bands fitting fine one day then *poof* they were cutting into their legs the next. I swear they sprouted like weeds over night!

Thanks Sunny - something I didn't think of!

I have a friend at my work who may be looking for some more chickens, they'll let me know tomorrow! They even may take the roosters too!

I'm getting rid of my showgirl rooster, Petey. I just can't stand him mating my girls. They freak out. He pulls on their crests really hard and they let out these shrill screams. Plus he's been doing it to my cripple girl and she really can't take being mated, it hurts her too much. Soooooo if anyone wants him let me know, I know this ain't the showgirl crew though!!!
