I know some are up and others are not - but I'm up right now and am going off to bed. I had to do some research on darn tapeworms. I've been bombarded with flies this week even though I use DE and I have fly traps all over the place and today I saw one of my girls with a tapeworm, I must get a handle on this right away so none of the others will get them if they don't already have them. I'm now putting DE in their food and according to what I've read this will work.

I'm sorta bummed and yet very excited today. I went to the store to get the tri-trip and they were out so I went ahead and bought sirloin tip roasts instead so we are having better meat than I thought we would have. I can't wait to grill them and bring them with all the fixings Saturday.

Okay - We are at 10 now, Ron I thought the chickenlady (? spelling) was coming into town this weekend? Have you heard anything from her? If I got it wrong than I'm sorry but I do have a problem with that all of time.

Goodnight as well! I must get up early and get back to work and then it's 4 days off in a row!

Finally after working 10 days straight now just so I could have 4 days off together it sounds dumb but it's actually a lot of fun. I work with great people as well and we talk about food all day and when it's not food I talk about chickens and how great they are.

So far it's a square with a gable roof!

I'm working on how to layout the inside. I want to have the ability to divide in two if I have 2 different ages in there so that makes it complicated to figure out the placement of everything. soon i'll have a few different layouts to ponder and then I can post them and see what you think.

Looking forward to Saturday! We don't have a dog otherwise I'd bring it for you. I don't think our cat is interested in going to a picnic.
