Nevadans?

I've got 30 of them in my living room right now! They were in the spare room but the temps dropped so the dog got moved in there at night. I'm gonna have a ton of cleaning to do when they finally get to go outside in the coop.

I need a fourth bedroom just for chooks! With melamine walls and a heavy duty exhaust system and cement floors. Oh and a drain or a roll up wall so I can hose off the floor when nasty water spills on it when I'm changing their water or when one or two escape from their brooders!

Is there such a thing as a dust-free surface? If so I want the whole room covered in that instead.

I'm glad I didn't get around to putting up the curtains in my office yet. Would have had to wash those. there is a layer of dust on every surface including a whole bunch of books. Oh well, they are worth it!

Yes they are! I have no curtains up anywhere so I just have to deal with the dust on the blinds. Not that that's a lot of fun either but a swiffer duster helps a lot when dusting blinds.

Oh Elizabeth to answer your question on snow, yes, yesterday I had errands to run in town so I took off early in that morning and I couldn't believe it when it started to snow shortly after getting on 395! At first I consoled myself with the fact that it wasn't sticking but 10 minutes later I saw, to my horror, that it was.

I don't know if I believe the stories that the cold will let up and we will have nice warm weather again soon since the weather report keeps changing. Last weekend they said 2 cold days and nights to be followed by 1 day at 70 degrees then back to the 80s but today would be in the 80's if that were true. I just checked the weather and yahoo says that next wednesday and thursday will be nice again! I hope so. I need 3 more weeks of nice weather to get stuff done around here!

Just got back from the homecoming game at my old high school. We lost!!

I told everyone I could cope better than usual because I was already a Raiders fan.

Chicks inside are so messy.

We have some young Japanese banties in. The weak one died, and we thought it was because she got too cold. Who knew? These little guys arent hardy at all. Im a little bummed out, I liked the little girl that passed, but Im glad everyone else is in before they all got chilled too.
