Nevadans?

The chicks are 3 weeks old now. Here are a few photos. I'm worried that one of my EE's is a rooster. I'm going to post on the what's the gender section to get opinions. I think I see 3 rows of peas. It's the chick in the bottom left corner--the two smaller photos. I'm so glad i decided to get a few EE's they are fun to watch develop.

Here are a couple of other chicks.

Here's the chick with her shoes before they fell off. I still need to get some athletic tape and try again.

Ha, dont worry about being new. Ive had chickens for a couple years, and that chick wouldve still thrown me off my stride. I only came upon that on accident. We'll get it figured out. But youre online!!

On the second link, theres a pic with some chicks in a little walker type thing where thier feet dont touch the ground if youre gonna make one of those to help her. Good luck!!

I like it too. I like those little fluffy bits sticking out of their necks. She is still ok on the weight. I've been supporting her to drink water a few times a day. she does get over there herself but seems to drink better with a little help. She's been eating on her own. I've been giving her some vitamins. I think it really helps to have her with just the two other chicks. She is still heavier than my little recovered pasty butt who is one of her companions in the new brooder.

Lily (gimpy chick) seems to be walking a little more and better today. (My daughter named her Lily before she started having problems so I might as well call her that.) She still falls over some and lays down with her feet either curled up or straight out. But maybe the vitamins are kicking in. She walked around pretty good this morning.

the weather is so much better today. After work I need to pick up a few things to finish the roof tomorrow. I need to get the coop finished up so I can move these dusty creatures out of my office!

have a good day!
Elizabeth
