Nevadans?

Okay, this sounds like it might actually work Aubrey. now I'm leaving for Florida on Monday but I'll pm you my DH's phone number and if you can bring 1 or a couple of baby chicks over and place them in the brooder for me then we should be okay. I'll buy the chick feed for them and we can see how she does and if there's any issues then we will let you know right away. We have the stuff for the brooder for them if she does reject them and we can go from there.

Okay, I moved Wynnie into the brooder and she is dedicated. She moved in nicely and stayed on her eggs. I told her goodnight and enjoy your fake family, since she's sitting on fake eggs.

Yeah she did Tyler but she's letting my hen raise some of them and she's getting them back. I think this will be the best way for her and I'm very excited about it. I know if Aubrey or any of us had a broody and someone else was getting day olds then we would help too. I'm just glad this is working great so far. I'm not sure if I should bring her in the house once the babies come or leave her outside in the brooder? I hear most people let their hens raise them without heat lamps or anything in the dead of winter and they don't have issues but it does worry me to do that, I'm thinking she should be in the house once the baby chicks arrive here next week?
