Nevadans?

Oh my gosh Lacey, I'm so sorry to hear this! I think you really do need to go to the doctor and get it checked out, do you get pain between your shoulder blades sometimes?

I'll get some pics up again later. We had a blast getting our tree this year. I think we became experts at it now. Ron if you ever want to join us just let me know and you're more than welcome.

Aubrey, way too cute with those chickies!

Aww, bummer Lacey! Your gall bladder is a small reservoir next to your liver that holds bile (which is produced by the liver) and releases it as needed when you eat, especially fatty foods, to help digest them. Sometimes crystals form in it - IDK why, but if it gets bad enough they remove the gall bladder. The crystals or "stones" cause pain in your gut on the right side in the area just below the rib cage. If that is what is wrong it won't get better on it's own, though I've heard drinking cranberry juice can help dissolve them and avoid surgery.

now ya'll come back again. But not until I get the pictures on BYC.

Ha ha ha I told them you said "Hi". Steve's Uncle thought that was real cute and said "Hi" back.

Glad your turkey came out great Ron. that's the size of turkey I used to need. I could never find a bird big enough at any of the stores to feed my whole crew and have left overs (mostly my family, Steve comes from a small family). Even when I preordered!!! I missed having leftovers all those years! Since we moved to Reno the whole gang can't make it up here so our celebrations are much smaller. Yes it's nice and peaceful now but to tell you the truth I kinda liked the chaos of a huge Miller family get-together!

Kim I hope your SIL has a quick recovery! I've had much more involved surgeries but to be quite honest, I'd rather have them than to have anything that stops me from eating what I want for any length of time! I'm a real foodie and it would just be too sad to do without the things I love for that long.

Tell Bill that Steve and Sunny say "Hi"!

I was in last night off and on, but no one had posted. Figured I'd be posting alone, so I moved on. Sorry you were alone in here.

OK I wanted to remind you all that I'm adding Nevadan's to the breeder list in the California thread, so come on over and post your lists so I can give you some recognition.

I want to see them! I've still got company so haven't taken the time to upload anything. Company helped us get the coop finished enough to get the birds in late last night. *yea!!!* So as soon as we get the garage cleaned out we can take the birds Genny is saving for us. I'm gonna take her advice and quarantine everything from here on out. I have quite a bit of money sunk into my stock these days so it would be a much bigger deal for me to lose them now.

Well I better get finished up with email so I can get back to our company. As much as they love to help I'm gonna be really sad to see them go!

OH LACEY!!! Do go for the follow up tests! There are things they can do to take care of these things if you catch it early! I went in early, when I had gall bladder problems at 20 yrs of age, and never had to have surgery. My Mom and Sister waited too long and they both had to have the surgery! Good luck to you!!!

We all just seem to be a disfunctional family on here.

It got bad today, but yesterday was great!! I don't think it's my gall badder, because it hurts on the right side, just under my ribs. My dad used to get ulcers though, dunno if it can run in the family, per se, but I was taking the acid reducers they gave me and it really helped!! Idk why today was rough, but yesterday was awesome.

Tyler, I want to see those boys!! I wanna see how everyone else's bunnies look.

Sheryl, I cant wait for your pics either, that tradition is so cool!! I was talking to my mom about it, but she doesnt like it as much.

I might do it someday to see how I like it.

I get a day off tomorrow!! So excited.

Lacey, that's exactly where the gall bladder is, and where you get the pain from it!

What did you have for dinner last night? If it was something like pizza, os some other fatty food, that will cause the gall bladder to act up.

I'm doing very well, thank you! I'm not tired of eating turkey yet so that's a good thing. I had a turkey sandwich for lunch and turkey for dinner. I'll probably have turkey sandwiches for lunch all week!
