okay, i DO have a budget! LOL!!
That's why I love the cardboard boxes brooder. I just cut 2 large ones down one side tape them together, pull the flaps out on the bottom, put a heavy duty tarp on the floor and place the box on top of that. Put bricks on the flaps to keep the box from moving around, put sand and shavings on top of tarp and viola! Instant brooder. To clean just get help and carry the tarp out to the compost heap and dump. Hint if you wait to long to dump tarp it will get extremely heavy!!! I know I always wait too long!
