I remember in middle school making "stained glass" for christmas presents or something. So im just going to pain right on the window and seal it with a spray enamel! Im actually really excited for this idea....
I think that will look so cool! I was gonna suggest the same thing. Forget the cling and just use glass paint on the window itself.
I've made a living in stained glass since I was 16 but as an artist, I have to agree, this is a great idea since it's in a shower AND you can purchase liquid lead to mimic that soldering...and it looks like the real thing. You can also glue real stained glass to the clear glass and use an actual lead that has sticky on it to adhere to the window.....so many choices..... I can't wait to see your stained glass flamingo!
Here's my art glass stores website if anyone's interested www.creativeglasscarvings.com and wow, now that I look at it....it's in desperate need of update! It still says 2010! I have too many jobs....

Sunny, congrats on the 8000!
Thank you Pam! I was wondering when you were going to post links to your businesses. Man I could go crazy in that store!!! I wish I lived in Paradise now. How fun would that be?!
Yea I was thinking the stick on lead strips would be a great way to go since it is so easy to control.
Here's a pattern for a stained glass flamingo. You could simplify it easily if you wanted less detail. http://www.thewhitehousesgb.com/1204flamingopat.jpg
I'm gonna use this as a pattern for a small quilt! Now I'm all jazzed again for a new project and I have more than a dozen other projects waiting to be finished!

From the best farm and ranch supply - the Big R Store in Fallon. You really have to go check it out - it's well worth the drive! They have everything. As for feed, I fed them Purina, first a bag of Turkey Starter, then Turkey Grower until about a month ago, and last was Turkey Finisher. I tried to give them other stuff like alfalfa and chicken scratch, but they weren't interested in any of it. I think they would have been happy to forage for bugs, but I didn't want to let them out on account of the many predators in my area.

Yeah. Let's see - I'll have to look at my pictures of them as babies.
Yep - May 14th! So that means he was just over 6 months old.
ETA: I'm thinking about maybe getting some heritage turkeys for next year. Several people mentioned they'd like one if I raised it - Mark and Aubrey, and I thought you and Steve, too, Sunny. Sounds like you're getting your own anyway. But if not, it's something to think about... Anyone else interested?
