Nevadans?

I can't update the browser here at work, we are not allowed, and this computer does have an old browser so now I must close all windows and only click on items I want to read right away. 1 at a time, ugh!

Like that's going to happen. John does not like Apple computers so much he refuses to even work on them. He's getting ready to open the business up full time with a good friend who works in IT here at work and they are going to ban all Apple computers from their store.

Everytime I even mention an Apple product I get shot down. He was a bit miffed when my sisters and I went in together and got him an Ipod. He didn't even want our names on it. I laughed of course and told him no worries he's getting his grill too and our names will be on it as well. For some reason it didn't make him happy.

thats too bad. I switched to a mac a few months ago and i will never look back. Ive never had NO issues with a computer before and im sooooo happy. I liked my PC but this is so much less stressful. my phone is also my baby, haha

good news on the hole digging front...jose got a heavy pointy metal pole/tool thing from our neighbor across the street that really helps dig the holes. He is almost done with the holes. We are debating if we should set the 4x4 posts in concrete or if our clay soil will be secure enough. Any opinions on the subject? We do get some pretty hefty wind through our yard. those neighbors were very excited to hear about our chickens and came over to take a look. (

possible chicken sitter source for us when we take a vacation).
By "heavy pointy metal pole/tool thing" do you mean a post hole digger?

Yep, those are handy! I can't imagine doing it without one!

How deep are you setting the 4x4s? If you're going down at least a foot, I don't think concrete is necessary. Just pack the dirt in real well and then wet it with a hose. I think it will dry as hard as concrete if you have clayey soil.

It's countdown time again!

Haha, you're getting ahead of yourself Sheryl. We are still 103 posts away from 9000.

Sierra we do this count down thing when we get close to a 1,000 more posts. Although at 10,000 we will probably switch to every 5,000 posts.

Oops! Ron snuck in there before me. Make that 102 posts away from 9,000.
