Nevadans?

Thanks Sunny. My mom was going to get rid of her dog, but shes gonna keep her now. My dog used to sleep in the hen house with the chickens. It was to dogs' job to keep the hens safe, but mom got her dog when we didnt have any chicken. So i think that why it seems so strange to me. Logically i know it happens, but idk. dang.

That is an awesome pic! I love lizards! My DH sometimes calls me a lizard because I get cold easy and I love to bake in the sun.

I know it sucks! I feel your loss since it hasn't been that long since I went through the same thing.

1) im bored with pictures so you guys dont have to look at random place. They are in nevada tho
2) the sickest chick the rock loader kid was worried about is doing good enough to fall asleep on my computer and poo on my key board. Even though its gross, its progress.

yeah. that should be the quote of the day. Sometimes i deem things quote of the day. like this one time my enlish teacher said 'there is no such thing as a stupid question, there are just inquisitive idiots.' and i thought that one was pretty great. Okay. i have to go. i need to clean this and go to bed. Theres a huge terrifying tree job tomorrow. one tree fell over onto another, and they are really dangerous. The business slang for those is actually 'widow makers', believe it or not. That means serious danger. you have to rope each peice out using the right amount of leverage ( a rope is wrapped around the bumper on a humungo 1980 1 ton chevy several times. the truck is backed up to create the pressure, too much pressure the branch shoots up and splats the climber who happens to be my dad. too little pressure the branch drops like dead wieght and splats the groundman who happens to be a family friend. just the right amount you use the friction in the rope wrapped around the bumper to the ground man waiting to guide it down) I get to be the person who runs one of the ropes. there are two ropes. mom is on the other. but i hate these jobs. we get a widow maker about every two or three years or so, but thats enough.
I would ace physics if it was as simple as tree business logic, but the equations are what get me.

Yes I am, I am looking for feathers of all sizes and colors textures whatever. They do not need to be real specific like they need to be for Fly Tying as these are simply going to be materials used in "Art" work.

laceynoelle, I didn't see your post about your Chickens before I wrote the post above. So very sorry. As a Dad i can tell you your mother does not have to be told you are sad. I know for me it can make me feel even worse when my kids try to be brave. It makes me think I am not doing my job right in a way. It is good that your Mom is more important than the chickens though but it still hurts.
Very nice photos. I like taking pictures also but don't get enough time anymore. But I do know a little bit about what goes into getting pictures that good.
I sure hope you all got that tree out safely. I know about the dangers of one tree falling on another. it takes a lot of energy to bend a large tree, and when it is let go you don't want to be in it's way. You think they woudl make it legal to just rig those thing with dynamite and let er blow, lol

Just saying Hi too. It was a pretty day today in the southern regions of the state. Getting on the warmish side. It's supposed to be cooler tomorrow for a day or two.

Hi as well. Thanks Penturner. I wasnt trying to be exactly brave, the chicks honesty dont mean as much as ma. I'll get some feathers, but how do you want me to give them to you? You can pick them up, or i can drop them off, or even mail them to you, too.
