Nevadans?

From my latest batch o' beads....

The first one is for my step-daughter who requested a southwestern theme.

The second one I made for a long-time friend who works in a feed store. The picture is kind of blurry due to being so close up, but I still think they're stinkin' cute!

And, yes, she used to have cows....

So, let me know what you want to do. I'll be glad to help if you need me.

I may just have to take you up on that. I'll watch her for a couple of days, but I don't think it's going to get any better. My job involves telling people to stop holding their necks a certain way, so it's definitely not good for a chicken, either!

Wooooo congrats! Mine is due on the 19th, if she took. But when I palpated, I didn't feel a thing. You know... I may be a failure at having my rabbits breed like... well, rabbits.

Although, the longer this takes, the more chances that she'll have a litter during warmer weather and we won't have to bring her inside.

That sounds like a good thing!

Okay, Sunny.... We don't want you to be embarrassed all by yourself...

A decade or so ago a nice side effect of my divorce was that I lost a whole lot of weight...so much so that I was able to fit into clothes that I had had in storage for awhile. So I donned a nice work outfit and went off to report a depo. The table was set up that I was sitting on one side of the conference table with the questioning attorney (female) and on the other side of the table were the witness and his attorney. The depo is going along and I stand up to grab the exhibit to mark it and the elastic in my half slip just disintegrated and my lingerie slid down to the floor into a big nylon puddle down around my ankles. I sidestepped out of it and quickly kicked it under the table, but not before the attorney at my side was reduced to hysterics. To her credit, at least she didn't share with the others what she found so funny.

I'm sure given some reflection I can come up with a few others, but I think unintentionally undressing at work provided my most memorable *blush* moment.

Is that where you got you screen name?

My rabbits don't breed like rabbits either. I bred 6 does 2 months in a row and nuttin! Now is so dang cold, I have to wait. I need babies!!!! No eggs, no bunny babies.........I'm having withdrawls!

Sunny I thought about you today when I was at the feedstore. A family was there getting shots for their 8 GSD pups. There was one that I would have taken if i had found a home for Tango and Cash.

I'm not getting any eggs either.

Now that I've given them their shots myself I'll never go back to dragging them out in public unprotected again. It was so easy! They didn't seem to even notice! My Dad held each one and fed them treats while I gave them their shots and they never flinched. Just kept wagging their tails and eating their treats.

Yeah shots are easy. I used to help an aunt and my great grandmother when I was a really little girl. I started doing them myself, with someone watching, when I was about 10. Bill was impressed at how quick I could do them and not whinning pups. I couldn't get an vaccines delived in time with my first litter of Rotties, so after over a decade of doing them myself, I took them to the vet for their first ones. Before the next one was due, they all catch Parvo. The only places they had ever been was my house and the vet , so guess where they got it. I lost every single puppy, so other than these 2 and that litter, I've always given them myself. I've met so many people who make comments about people giving shots at home themselves and they think it's horrible. I just tell them about my poor babies and how it never happened before or since. Now cats!!! I prefer not to do it. Just always been paranoid since vet school. If I hadn't quit I might not have graduated anyway since I refuse to do it.
