Nevadans?

umm hmm the chicn you do NOT want if you ever are even considering of showing these. Blue you can Breed to blacks, lilacs, choclates,ETC while chic goes to chin in satin. Do you know the age and can you showq me you babies?

Your blacks actually can go to your chin, so you would need a black buck for your chin doe. The reason I say this is becuase if it is for meat, people want to buy what they know and for show you want recognised varieties. If you breed the chin and blue you will get blue chin or squirrel colored rabbits.

most of it is all the spelling errors I notice after the post and never bother to correct.

Hey guys! Id like to get serious for a moment and talk to you about something.

So I met with a woman today who raises chickens here in town. She had a raccoon attack her flock at 9pm the other night and kill some of her birds. Knowing that htis is something Ive had a problem with before she contacted me about a product that her husband had invented called the Pinnoccio. Pinoccio is a device that communicates to a machine via wifi or cellular, ex your iphone. They built this machine using the pinnoccio kind of like a robot as their prototype that could be controlled by someone from across the country via their iphone.

We have talked before about how our lives revolve around being home at a certain time every night to lock up the birds before it gets dark and they become unsafe. How we cannot take vacations because of the worry involved with fidning someone willing to come to the house twice a day to unlock/lock up the birds.

My friend owns her own business which is actually helping people start up their own businesses. What We want to do is get me into my own business geared towards the new trend in having suburban flocks. We want to use her husbands technology to invent a device that would allow you to open and close your chicken coop door from anywhere through your iphone. For example i will be working at 5:30 am and mark works at six which means the chickens will have to be let out too early. Hopefully our prototype will allow me to let the birds out around 9am through an app in my phone. Now we realize that solar powered openers and timed openers exist, but we think we can create the entire device and door for a fraction of the cost...think 50 dollars as opposed to 200-300 dollars based on an amazing bulk product discount her husband gets for materials because of the development of his invention.

another pro we are gearing towards is that we want to be able to market the product towards people like myself who are terrified by the thought of putting things together and building them. We want simple installation instructions, with full functionability.

I will be going to a convention type thing to pitch our idea to designers and engineers who can hopefully help us build a website and prototype. I think there will be a market for this product, and my friend has been doing this a while and has seen people come up with some terrible ideas, but she thinks they will choose this one without a doubt. If it is chosen we will be eligible for business startup grants and all sorts of things that can help us get this out there to the community and hopefully help us all get some of our lives back without worrying about those ****** raccoons!!!!

Anyway the first step for me is meeting with and talking to people about what they would like to see in a product like this. How do you like your doors to open? How would you like to see functionability maintained? What materials would you like to see? Would you buy this product? do you see it making your life easier? things like that...i need to get some feedback to present to the engineers and designers.

Id love if you guys got in on this project with me!

Seth, right now all of those colors sound perfectly awesome to me!

The blue x the spotted NZ doe... what do you think they'll throw? The NZ doe threw 2 blacks and 2 white w/ black spots with this batch. Considering we're just getting into the meat thing, I guess I could always save pelts and keep evolving as I go. Right now, I want to feed my family, and upcycle the pelts into a blanket for my bed. Then we'll go from there.

I don't know the age. I'll message the lady. We're supposed to pick them up in a week if we decide to do this.

Aubrey, the first thing that comes to mind is wanting to know that I could trust the product. I'd want something that I could easily install in my own style of coop (since we're Lords of Upcycling around here. You never know what we'll build next.) And I want to know that I can stay out partying until midnight (we do that ALL the TIME!

) and know that my birds are safe. I'd want something that I could paint or style to match my coop. I'd want it carefree, so all the dust and poop doesn't cause an inconvenient malfunction that ends up with dead birds. As far as how they open... if it's going to be marketable, I would think they should open in several ways, depending on customer preference. I like my pop door to swing down onto the ground, to save it from getting ripped off in the wind.
