Or you could just keep letting them lay there. Collect the eggs, leaving one or two but with the night time temperatures getting into freezing range, maybe you could put and leave some fake eggs in there for them. That way you know where they are laying.
I agree you just need to pen them in there for awhile.I thought about doing just that except for the weather issues we are going to have so I really can't do that. I'm not sure how to fix it right now. They have plastic eggs in there but they need to go in there first to see them. lol
