I'm in Susanville, CA just about an hour from Reno. Our town is soo small that we have to go into Reno to any shopping we can't do at Safeway or Walmart. We actually plan to be going to Reno in the next couple of weeks, once our Tax return comes, we will be going to Best Buy to get a Laptop for me (Hubby doesn't like to share).

okay vegas peeps...
i just started 32 LF eggs and 9 banty cochin eggs... when they all hatch i will not be able to keep them all.. lol.. yeah.. don't ask me why i'm incubating them all... i want to see what hatches out though...
but i'm hoping to have chicks for sale in about 3 weeks.. lol... with my first hatch i could tell within 3 weeks which were hens and which were roos.. so if you wnat def hens i can grow some out a bit too...

i'll let you guys have first dibs before i go to craig's list with the rest of them...

Heres the list of what I have coming next sunday...5 white orpingtons, 5 buff orpingtons, 5 blue cochin, 5 light brahmas, 2 black australorps, and 3 speckled sussex, and one unknown that the hatchery is throwing in my mix. They are all sexed as hens, but we will see. I am keeping one of each,except for the sussex. I have found homes for all the others too. The nursery is all set up as of today. Now im just testing the temperature...

How exciting! I have some babies coming in April but nothing 'til then. C'mon April!!!
Can't wait to see pics when they come, I'll take some of my chicks too...

Update on the first 110 eggs candled, tossed 10-12 (3 clear and the rest quitters). Go evonne go, good luck on the hatch.

i'm SSSOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my MFC's have been picked for me.. meet 7 & 3 lol... the roo is 7 the hen is 3... they come from lynne in CA... they hatched 11/09
