You guys seriously dont have any?

Seriously! None!
I can't decide whose house I want to sneak over to first. Your's to steal some worms or vegaschick's to steal that gorgeous EE from her! What a beautiful bird!!!

I am in Reno, and yes there are worms, hundreds in my garden area. Several years ago there were not many but I built some raised beds and started "lasagne gardening" in them whereby layering with browns and greens etc. Within a short time the worms appeared to do their magic on helping with decomposition of the organic material. At this point, if I dig it kinda creeps me out with the numbers of worms wriggling all over LOL.

If anybody wants some worms, let me know, I am happy to share.

Nancy

I am trying lasagne gardening and nad so far. Even my horse compost pile - not a worm - even when you dig down

DH and I just figured the ground around us is too dry for the poor worms - even digging down 10 feet the "soil" is bone dry. Course I do live next to "Dry Valley Road"

I would love to import worms, but really do not want to until I have a better enironment for them. <sigh>

Yes, sadly, Laceynoelle - I am serious - we are a worm free zone.

Hey my peeps,

I was hoping you could help me out by *bumping* my post. My little brothers band has released some new songs and I want to spread the word. Yes, I am a little biased but I think they sound fantastic and want to proudly show them off. Their band is called Shark Speed and the members are primarily NV natives. They have played here in Vegas at First Friday several times. First Friday being an event held downtown monthly on the ... first Friday ... that is all about art and music, kinda a big thing here, and they have quite a big following in UT where they live right now. They all went to college there and that's where they formed the band. Anyways please go to this thread and check out their music. After you listen, tell me what you think. It's okay, you can leave an honest opinion ... as long as it's good!

Am I reading this right? You fed worms to your Ma? I used to love to catch tarantulas & things and scare the bajeebers out of my Mom with them but I never fed them to her.
