Well my little white chicken is back to herself! She has been running around with all her sisters (and brothers since i call some of the hens boys
)
I have let them free range the last couple days and she has been out there searching the ground, as happy as can be! I'm so glad this time turned out better than what happened to Chloe
This is an old Pic, but heres the little white chicken. The one that likes me
I have 2 White Leghorns. the other one hates me
Its been pretty warm the last couple days, and is supposed to be warm the coming days, so i took of the chains and plow on the quad. It's a lot easier to drive it on dry dirt without chains.

I plan on getting about 4 more chicks this spring and 2 of them were going to be red sex links - just like NevadaRon said, I really want the egg production.

We have a guinea pig that is about 4 or 5 years old now. My daughters got a pair of sisters for Christmas. In the summer of 2009 one of them had a stroke and died
but we still have the other one! What has the bunny been named?

WOW!!! I can't say anything else that everyone else hasn't already said about the cats. Has anyone else around you had problems with cougars? I wonder why they were so thin - too much competition for food? not enough food available? were they sick? so many questions and probably no answers. It would have been a long and slow death for them.
However, your new chickies are soooo cute!!! I can't wait to get mine! Olivia has been bugging me to no end about getting chickies.
Not much going on with my hens - fat and sassy - getting obnoxious about being let out of the run into the backyard - they crowd the gate when I go into the run and try to push passed me to get into the backyard. Then, while I'm in the run checking things over and cleaning they are constantly telling me how much they want to go into the backyard.
We had another perfect egg score day yesterday - 6 eggs from all 6 hens!
Busy day for us today (saturday). Grocery store early today, soccer practice 10-12, then lunch, then we (Olivia and I) will be at the Safeway on Vista from 1-4 selling restaurant/dining coupon books for her soccer team - come by and say hi!

If you can find them in CA there is an egg train of sorts forming and we might be able to get them to you without having to ship them. BYC folks are a lot easier on eggs than typical shipping employees are.
