Also, good news! I got a white egg today! they means my white leghorn who had the impacted eggs a few months ago is laying again! i know its hers since we dont have the other white leghorn anymore

Sunny W. has worms? My girls must be in hog heaven! The only time they get worms here is when I go to the bait shop to get them a treat!

Cute little girls you got there Ron. What does CB stand for (unless you are into Citizen Band Radios)?

I love my orps too saym. My new little chicks (well not so little anymore they are about 6 times the size they were when I picked them up) from Gitlost are the sweetest things! The others freak when I reach in to feed and water them but these little orps just look at me curiously and come over to see what I'm doing. They have the best personalities!

I think she's cute even with it, and she's very sweet - just sits there when I pick her up, unlike her flockmates who squawk at me and take a while to calm down.

Just spoke with Sunny W - she says she gave them a "salad" of lettuce, canned corn and night crawlers. She's still only getting one egg a day though. I told her it might take a few days for them to calm down. She thinks they need a rooster to get them in the egg-laying "mood"!

So she wanted me to see if anyone has a silkie roo they would like to get rid of. LOL - chicken math is starting already!

It always takes a few days to a couple of weeks for them to start laying after a move. I'm happy she's already getting an egg! The last time I moved adults they didn't lay in their new home for 4 weeks!

Thank you! The first one was a bonus. The shipper included 2 lavenders as packing peanuts and Kim let me have one of them.
