Does anyone around here have Cayuga Ducklings? I want some soooo bad and my DBF said Yes! I have called every feed store around here and they keep switching the dates on when they will be coming in. Im going crazy! Also does anyone know where "Big R" in Fallon orders from? I asked them and they said they werent allowed to tell me. I think thats kinda odd...anyways I REALLY want some!

I don't know where Big R gets their poultry but I bought mine there last year and have been very happy with them. BTW Big R is a great store - I could spend hours (and thousands $

Does anyone know of anyone in Reno/Sparks/CC that raises Blue Orpingtons? I'd like to get some, but don't want to order 25, and am afraid of mail ordering because we have such a little post office in Portola. One feed store said they would be a special order, but never said how many I would have to order. Wouldn't mind picking up some from someone local to add to the BO flock.

We have 12 buff orpington hens and (unfortunately) 2 orpington roosters. Last year we got the first 7 hens and one rooster (wanted 8 hens) and 4 weeks ago we added 6 orpington hens and another roo (again, supposed to be a pullet!). We also added 3 black sex links, but one held out almost 4 weeks before expiring. We also lost one of the original hens this last week somewhat mysteriously in the coop. So I would like to replace the 2 that we have lost. We have more egg wanting customers than egg supplying girls!
