Nevadans?

I want him to bad I can't have him.

That's too bad! He'd make a great 4-h breeding project!

I know I don't have any breeding hens though. And next year is my last year of 4-H than I leave on a mission for my Church and my Mom is refusing to let me get any more animals. I already found a short term place for my ducks now all I need is one for my show roosters. One's a Partige Silkie and the other is a Cochin (he's my favorite) he's a Calico.

Thanks Sunny - something I didn't think of!

I have a friend at my work who may be looking for some more chickens, they'll let me know tomorrow! They even may take the roosters too!

All I have left are the breeding sets. I keep hoping Brian can get a ride for the marans and I've been putting off listing them on CL because of it. I will post these on Monday though since I am out of time now. If your friend wants a trio (1 roo 2 girls) of BCMs, a trio of wheaten ameraucanas (1 cockerel, 2 pullets) or a blue ameraucana pair (1 cockerel & 1 pullet) then let me know.

Sorry Sunny but he couldn't take them because he said something is killing his chickens, he lives in Verdi and there's a bobcat and a mountain lion roaming there right now. The bobcat even went into one of my friends house chasing her cat, luckily her daughter jumped up screaming and raising her arms and the bobcat took off out of there. They are calling the wildlife management to take care of it but they are closed for the holiday weekend! I hate to have him take them and they end up being food for the wild cats!

Hey fellow Nevadans! I haven't posted in awhile, but I wanted to log in and say

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

Saturday we did our bi-annual mass cleaning of the coop, stripped everything out until it was just walls and a floor, and then sprayed it down. re changed the layout a bit and I think i like it better this way.

Today we cleaned out the pig pen and gave the pigs another bath. we are getting close to the auction in August! Can't wait for the fresh pig meat in the freezer!

Hope everyone is doing well and hope yall had a good Independence Day!
