We always shot between the eyes, up a bit toward the ears (making an x from left ear to right eye and from right ear to left eye - hope that makes sense). We used a 22 - course when I say "we" I mean my folks years ago - I helped but was mostly the watcher at shooting time. The shot is mostly a stun, then bleed them quick with a good throat cut.

Just got back from the swap. This one was way better! There were lots of really pretty breeds that I had never seen in real life before. I got a wcb polish hen and a questionable barred Cochin bantam. Yay!

A couple years ago, when I got Versace - I also got a few bantams - one was a barred cochin hen - Puff of Luv - I called her. Oh my goodness was she super sweet. Did not even have her a year and she passed away - fine in the morning and in the afternoon I found her napping in the sun

This one is not very fluffy and is still young. I dot know if it's a pullet or a cock. Maybe if I don't get attached to it we can trade for that gorgeous orp I had my eye on

I only got this one because it reminds me of Agnes <3 I didn't even know they made barred Cochins!
