But Ive got a Blue Andulusian pullet of all things, and she's the prettiest chicken ever. Or the prettiest one here, anyway. ^^ Everyone else is molting. Ive been wanting to show her all summer, but they cancled the state fair.

Good news! I rehomed a rooster and the pullet that I hate today, yay! Also got a new hen from gennny, wait till you see her. She is absolutely gorgeous. Half blue half buff orp. I really don't want anymore chickens but I've had my eye out for this one for a while!! She's really sweet too. Already one of the flock. Petey has had his way with her and she looks like she's been here forever.

About the show in Nov. Yes It is at the RLEC. it's Nov. 19.
I don't think show catologs have even been printed yet, so it's not even time to enter birds yet.
I'm just selling the self blue silkie at APA this year.

Welcome Sunvalley Serama.
The only thing I do differrent in the winter is switch to a water bowl instead of a waterer and move my bantams into the rabbit barn. My girls do eat a lot more in the winter.

Aubrey sorry if I dashed off today! My Mom was in a strange mood and she kept popping off with the wierdest things. She went into a long diatribe with 2 different cashiers and I was trying to avoid another.

She had a bunch of errands she needed my help with and I was getting a little pooped by then.

Hi everyone.

Bella had a bit of a set back yesterday. She didn't want to eat anything or drink anything so I did what a human would want if they were in the hospital. I carried her to the flock and held her while we sat watching them. She was amazing and so was the ladies. They cooed and looked at each other and she didn't try to fly out or anything, she knows she can't walk. She watched them eat and they came over and said hi to her. I put her back in the dog crate and she ate up a storm. Today she didn't want to eat so we did it again and she did the same thing but this time she wanted down but she was still drying from her bath and I told her she had to wait. I guess she knew what I was saying because she placed her head on my arm and watched. Boy did she scarf up the food then. I hope she makes it, it's still touch and go for sure. She's just so skinny it sucks! I'm home today and tomorrow and will keep updates going.
