Lacey, We are looking in Lemmon Valley. So far it is our favorite for meeting the whole list of requirments. We ;ooked at a place as you go north out of Lemmon valley on Matterhorn drive. So yeah that area is high on our list. Heard there are good people living out that way also

Here's the base of the coop. This is where I left off last weekend. I will be adding some more support braces from the frame to the posts. Today I framed the front wall and cut the studs etc for the back and north walls. Of course I was hoping to get more done but a.m. soccer game and repeated interruptions all day long from my dear kids slowed me down a bit. Hoping to get lots done tomorrow. And I have to get a big container to convert into a brooder.

HI just wanted to let you know that Northern Nevada Poultry Fanciers is having a POULTRY SWAP & SALE on OCT 1st at Feed World on Spokane/4th st in Reno 9-1pm I hope those of you that are in the area can stop by! This is a fundraiser for our upcoming Northern Nevada 4-H Youth and Open Poultry show on Nov 19th. We will be raffling off a pair (or possibly a trio)of bantam Buff Brahmas too!! ($1 a ticket)

We hope to have over 500 birds at our show this year.(also we can always use volunteers to help set up on 11/18 or clerk/work sale area, auction area or whatever on 11/19)
