Nevadans?

Ha ha ha! Too hilarious!!! I'm really diggin the spam one. Like a true artist they have left the piece "undone" for each viewer to finish in their own mind.

The meat one wouldn't be so bad if the sausage and bacon were cooked! Raw pork products laid out like that are just a huge turn off.

I'm having a very unproductive day today. I think I need some caffiene. Or some warmth. It is so cold in my house I can't seem to thaw enough to get anything done.

I know both of those excuses are lame. I'm so blah today I can't even think of a creative reason for my blahness!

Well off to run some boring errands. Maybe some fresh air and sunshine will get the creative juices flowing.

Everyone! I'm back to work today and almost normal again, whatever normal is, and I'm ready to go do some stuff when I get home. Boy it's so cold at my house I couldn't keep the water from freezing all day long. So John & I went to Greens Feed and bought a water heater for the flock. Cindy at Greens Feed says you can use the heaters with a plastic waterer as long as you don't let the waterer get dry. So we put the forzen waterer onto the heater last night and all was good this morning. The ladies had water instead of ice this morning and the waterer wasn't melted. So now we know we can use the water heaters on the plastic waterers!

Hope everyone is having a good day today!

Hello! I've been so busy at work this week. My colleague and I gave a workshop today and it went really well. We have also drummed up a little business for our Center from a couple of attendees, which was a hoped for, but not guaranteed, result. I'm glad it's over though. Now more work on some reports. This time of year is busy for us.

Glad you're feeling better, sheryl!

My low tech frozen water solution is to have two waterers. I bring one in the house at night and switch it out with the frozen one in the morning. the water heater would be less work though.

i forgot to mention that I put different color zip ties on the legs within breeds so i can start naming them. I have some ideas but haven't solidified my name choices yet. My sister has loved chickens for a long time although she lives in an apartment in st paul, mn and does not have any. So i'm letting her name the wyandottes.so stay tuned for some names forthcoming. apparently I have a fear of commitment to chicken names.

Glad your feeling better Sheryl. It just plain sux to be under the weather.

I use rubber bowls and empty the water at night. Or if I forget, I flip and stop them in the morning.
