Nevadans?

Love all the family pictures and putting faces with screen names. Everyone is pretty much like I pictured and am I the only one that thinks Aubrey could be Sunny's daughter? Same big smile!

Here's me with my granny at her 100th back in Dec. (I think I may have posted it before)

My daughter, me and my mom on our boat this summer

My Dad and my only granddaughter Layla. She asked him if he would climb up that hill with her...

My daughter Carly, son Brian and me

My hunka, hunka burnin' love! No, I'm not married to George Clooney

Love this man

The gang at Christmas, all 5 grandkids in one spot! My parents, husband, both kids (yes, I only have two, nothing compared to this group), their spouses and all the grandkids! Oh, and I'm taking the picture....

OMG!!! You all look so gorgeous in your wedding pictures!!! Yes Kim you were quite the hottie in that very untraditional wedding dress.

My mom sewed my wedding dress. She hand sewed on the lace and beading. I loved my dress. It was my very favorite element of all the wedding bits.

Pam, you have a gorgeous family. You, your mom and your daughter look so much alike!

My chickens are very friendly. They follow me all around the run. It's pretty funny. I have named the BR who is queen bee of the flock, "Gunda". (pronounced goon-duh) It's a norwegian name. the significance is war or fight. Seemed appropriate although she is not fighting all the time but does put the other ones in their place. Gunda has been singing an egg song off and on all morning. she's been in and out of the nest boxes, on top of the nest boxes and I just found her on top of the bag of bedding which I had put up on top of a garbage can. What a nut! Just lay the egg already!

I found egg #4 this morning. I think someone else laid this one. It's smaller and a little darker in color. One of the SLW has been in the nest boxes too so maybe it was her? However, I found the egg on the floor again.

Hey Sunny. Any idea when the wearherman is gonna be good to you?

All the pics are great. Not making my usual long comments due to technical difficulty.

Kim you are a hotty! And how many kids DO you have? These are your 4 youngest? Wow all you woman who have so many kids look awesome! I always wanted 4 kids (my husband and I both came from 4 kid families) but when I had a boy and a girl and was dealing with a thyroid problem that almost left me in a coma we decided that we shouldn't have any more. But lucky for us, our kids have given us 5 grandkids and they all live in the area. Once my back is fixed I'm going to be able to enjoy them without the constant warning not to jump on Mimi. My 3 1/2 year old stinker, just kisses my legs and tells me he didn't jump, he just fell....they keep us laughing.

Kim I know you're having a tough time and your family keeps you moving too. Hope you can find a new home that will bring you peace. I know you're place has a lot of memories of Bill but he'll be with you no matter where you go. Hope that at least your fingers on the broken wrist can start typing again soon!

Not the traditional wedding. Ours was black and purple, leather and Harley's. My 4 youngest and one of my grand daughters (Khamaria)

Thanks Elizabeth, my daughter and I especially look alike. I always say that pictures of us are the before and after shots!

Your Gunda is hilarious! I had a girl like that. She followed me around one day squawking if I left her side. I sat down with her and she finally laid her first egg. She then calmly got up and walk off. That egg in the picture looks pretty nice size for new layers! New layers seem to have a hard time figuring out the nest box. Every once in a while I still find one on the ground and my youngest are almost a year. I think when it happens with seasoned layers there's something going on in the hen house. Either a predator had been around that night or someones disrupting the pecking order.

Well we have one of our hens laying jumbo eggs, blue ones. I think the brown egg layer finally got the idea as well Sunny. Got our first egg from her this morning. 3 or 4 hens laying now.

I'm still loving all the pictures again! I'll get some wedding photos up later on.

Elizabeth, your gunda is very cute, she's not laying yet though by the looks of her. Her comb & waddles will get bigger and a more bright red.

Your egg #3 and #4 looks like my SLW ones but I don't know what your other ones will look like since I don't have any of those. The BR's usually have a slight pinkish/purple tint to them and the SLW's will have the all tan eggs.

Gotta get back to baking now. I usually bake all day on Saturdays and this is just like a normal Saturday.

I received a phone call yesterday from work telling me to get back upstairs in Marketing right now. It's a great friend of mine and I guess everyone is having a lot of issues up there since they eliminated all the lower executives and kept all the higher ones. I haven't decided yet if I want to go back up there. I'm not having anymore stress and the Hotel has given me my hours and days I enjoy having. Of course going back upstairs will be a lot more money again but really is money everything, not to me? Peace is more important and I'm having peace more than not. John says I really need to get back up there before the new owners take over or I'll be stuck in the Hotel but really again, am I really stuck or happy? There's a concert coming up next month and they must have someone there who knows what they are doing.

I vote for HAPPY! My husband has a management job and it's going to kill him! Unfortunately, I own my own businesses that are barely making it in this horrible economy so he can't step down. If you're making it, then choose HAPPY!
