Nevadans?

Darn I was hoing you got more. Are they black? I think my FBCM roos are the more dominate. I do have a crazed BBS AM roo who you can't beat off a hen. Seriously. Andyway if they're black and the feathers start really mossing they are pullets. The roos tend to start looking like BCM roos, so they stay more towards black, but get really pretty later on.

I have 49 eggs in lockdown. I lost chicks last time and with the Easter hatch I need to make sure I have that hatcher working perfectly. Wish me luck! I need some good hatch vibes.

It was a yellow chick? It's unlikely a GCM then but the ameraucanas are not suposed to have feathered feet. You might have to ask Candy if something else might have gotten into the mix.

I know! I was hoping for a lot more before the temp spike but after that I thought I had lost them all for sure. So I was very happy to get 4 adorable babies that beat the odds! 3 are black and one is gray/silver looking. At least 2 have pea combs and if the other combs are not pea combs then they are awfully tiny!!! haha

Best of luck on this current hatch!!!

My lav pips&peeps girl lays more of a blue green. Wonder if they were her's? I was hoping her's would be pure.

Maybe they were Shady's eggs. She usually lays olive, but she's had some weird looking eggs laid lately. Lav would make since though if it was Lavern's eggs.

Nope, Seth's chick is a wheaten Ameraucana. Clean faces, single combs and feathers on the shanks crop up once in awhile still, even from the best breeders

Even more often in the project birds like the lavenders. One of my lavender chicks in this hatch has feathered shanks also. These two were sold as culls

Yep! I had a terrible hatch due to that temp spike but considering that, I am thrilled that any hatched! I have 3 little OEs and 1 little EE. They are super healthy! Not sure how that happens other than the strongest survive but these little guys are just perfect! Very friendly too. Judging from combs it looks like I have at least 2 girls (one is right in the middle so we'll see).

Any green what? Green egg layers? Yes.
Oh Seth that chick with the feathered feet is most likely a marans. Looks like you got one of the GCMs.
