Seth- if the time comes that you need a coop and don't have one yet, just let me know. I have some half sheets of plywood, some extra chicken wire, and time. I'd be happy to help you whip up something temporary at least. I firmly believe that people have forgotten how to stick together, and that with the economy and polotics the way they are, their might be a time real soon when people will have wished they treated each other a little better.
I know Candy wanted to see pics of Lacey to see how she's doing so I though she might like to see a video of these 2. I'm really enjoying this group of birds. They have personalities that I really love watching.
Love the coop missy
My chicks are doing fine but we are worried about the coop it hasent't come yet we are afriad it might be a scam![]()
Missy I really like your coop, the paintings are beautiful!

Ok, so these are by far some of the worst pics ever taken, but I promised some today. So here they are, even if they were last minute.
(ignore the trash on the floor, the mother in laws puppy we're training is still chewing up everything)
Thats my Honey, with mystery chick on his right, and Peregrine and my little split girl from Sunny on his left.
Mystery coming in for a closer look.
and an older pic of some of our leghorn girls. They were just over two months old here.
Honey was in referance to my husband in the pic, but I'm not sure what breed the little pullet sitting on his right arm is.I totally believe that way!![]()
Did I miss the conversation about who Honey the mystery chick is?
And thanks for the compliments on the coop! It was a lot of hard work turning it into something other than the pile of recycled junk I started with, that's for sure.
Mandy, I loved your pics. I have a friend who lives in Carson and she needs to get rid of her 4 leghorn chickens, they are around 3 years old but they still lay very well. She decided she wanted different color eggs after she saw mine and went and picked up 4 new babies. If you know anyone who's interested please let me know. I think they are going to put them on Craigslists.
Now all you need is a black lav split rooster for your lavender girl and a BLRW pullet from Kirstie's batch and you will be able to produce some super nice chicks for yourself next spring!
Do you paint for others? Or just your own enjoyment?
Amanda is pretty pale. I don't see any rows in her comb yet so I'm thinking girl so far.
Harmony is doing really well. She's hanging in there. I'm going to take her back to the vet to see what we can do about her upper bill, it's so much smaller than her lower bill and she's not gaining the weight as fast as Mo but it's to be expected with her type of injury. These guys grew so fast I can't believe it. They are huge compared to the chickies.
part of it but Pay pal allows you to get your money back so it will be fine. I don't think it is because he keeps in contact and siad he was sorry his truck broke down .
thanks for the photos! what kind of comb does the mystery chick have, single?Missy I really like your coop, the paintings are beautiful!

Yes! Thanks so much for posting the pictures and video! Both your chicks are super nice! The lacing on your BLRW rooster chick is awesome!! And I really like Amanda's color!
